The best part of my marriage is that we are equals. Whatever I bring to our marriage for you in turn bring the same for me. When I need, you provide. When you need, I return the favor.
I've heard this song a million times. I've listened the words and thought I am the "I" and you are the "you". At other times I decided that you are the "I" and I am the "you".
I spoke about wings, you just flew
I wondered, I guessed and I tried, you just knew
I sighed, but you swooned
I saw the crescent, you saw the whole of the moon
What I realize now after so many years is that as a married couple, we are truly a "we".
